Soul Silver is my preffered version. simply because Lugia is awesome and Silver itself. but i'll pick up both for gameplay reasons like to catch both kyogre and groudon as my own. Also for the Lati twins and the other legends.

I'm getting Heart Gold. Gold was the first game I didn't have to share with one of my brothers, and has always been my favorite.

Soul Silver. Heart Gold reminds me of this. Sorry Neil Young, but i dont need your music stuck in my head as i play Pokemon. Also I like Lugia more than Ho-Oh.

I plan on eventually getting both, but I'm getting heartgold first because me and Sycamore talked it over and he's getting silver and I'm getting gold to start it off.

I actually recently came to the conlusion that I was going to have to purchase Heart Gold and transfer my "battling" team to it, and I want to set it up to be able to breed all my combat-worthy pokes...
I'll want to get them both so that I can have Kyogore and Rayquaza anyhow, but to top it off, I don't like the trainer name I picked for my SS game, but I've already transferred my collection of 200+ pokes to it.
That's a lot of work just to change my trainer name.
So, Heart Gold, here I come!
